Welcome to capsl ("capsl", "we"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose personal information when you use our app and services.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require account creation and do not collect your email for authentication. If you contact us, we will process your email address and message to respond.
Photos and screenshots are stored locally on your device and optionally synced via your personal iCloud. We do not store your photos or screenshots on our servers.
Screenshots from your photo library that we automatically detect and analyze using AI to extract metadata (music, articles, social posts). Screenshots are sent to our server for processing only and are not retained after analysis.
Basic device data (device/OS, language) and subscription status needed to operate the app.
We do not use cookies in the mobile app.

2. Use of Personal Information

We use personal data only to provide the app's core functions (photo journaling, screenshot analysis, and daily tracking). This includes sending screenshots to our backend for AI analysis to extract metadata. We do not use personal data for analytics, advertising, marketing, or personalization beyond the app's core functionality.

3. Security and Sharing

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data. We share personal data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g., AI processing, Apple Music API for enrichment, subscriptions/payments, support). We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

4. Retention and Deletion

Screenshots sent for analysis are processed and not retained on our servers after processing. Photos and journal entries are stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud if enabled. You can delete any data within the app. Deleting the app removes local data from your device.

5. Analytics and Tracking

We do not collect analytics and do not track you across third-party apps or websites. If we later introduce optional diagnostics for debugging, we will update this Policy and our App Store disclosures in advance and request consent where required.

6. Your Rights and Children

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Contact: poteminr@gmail.com. The app is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes and Contact
